Guest Preacher - Pastor Nick Dignan
Pastor Nick Dignan trusted Christ as his personal Savior during the summer before his senior year of high school. That same year, he sensed God calling him into the ministry—a call that meant turning down multiple football scholarships to follow God’s will. In faith, he surrendered to the Lord’s leading and enrolled in Bible college.
While in college, he met and married Ashley, who has been a faithful partner in life and ministry. Together, they have four wonderful children.
Before becoming the pastor of Val Verde Baptist Church, Pastor Dignan served as Associate Pastor at Bible Baptist Church in Jefferson City, Missouri for 15 years. He also has a special burden for the Deaf community as a C.O.D.A. (Child of Deaf Adults), and has spent many years preaching to and interpreting for the Deaf.
